Mr. James E. Davey is President by Hartford Funds Management Co. LLC and by The Hartford Mutual Funds, Inc., President & Chief Executive Officer by Hartford Alternative Strategies Fund, Chairman, President, CEO & Manager at Hartford Investment Financial Services LLC, Executive Vice President by Hartford Life Insurance Co. and by The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. He is on the Board of Directors at Investment Company Institute. Prior to joining The Hartford, he served in several management roles at Merrill Lynch including director of 401(k) alliance management and director of corporate and institutional 401(k) product management, overseeing product profitability and marketing strategy. Mr. Davey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from King’s College and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
