Ian Shapiro

Ian Shapiro is a partner in the Litigation department at Cooley LLP. He joined Kronish Lieb Weiner & Hellman LLP in 2003, which was merged into Cooley Godward Kronish LLP in 2006. Mr. Shapiro represents clients in civil, securities, criminal, and regulatory matters. Mr. Shapiro received his JD from Harvard Law School in 2000, where he was an editor and Notes Chair of the Harvard Law Review. In 1992, he received his BA in Philosophy from Yale University. Following graduation from law school, Mr. Shapiro clerked for the Honorable Michael B. Mukasey, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
