Billionaire brothers Daniel, Robert and Dirk Ziff are brothers and co-managers of Ziff Brothers Investments LLC, which manages the family fortune derived from William Ziff’s magazine-publishing empire. Ziff Brothers Investments increased their wealth by investing their inheritance in equities, debt, real estate, commodities, private equity and hedge funds. Today the brothers collectively have a fortune of more than $10 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. In August 2014, Bloomberg.com reported that Ziff Brothers Investments plans to sell its energy private-equity investments as part of a reorganization of the firm.
