David Ruder

David Ruder served as Chairman of the SEC from 1987to 1989. His time as Chairman included the stock market crash of 1987. As a former dean and now a distinguished professor at Northwestern Law School, he now supervises the administration of the San Diego Securities Regulatory Institute; the Ray Garrett Corporate and Securities Law Institute, and the Northwestern Corporate Counsel Institute. He is also the current Chairman of the Mutual Fund Directors' Forum.
