The Washington Group International was formed in 2000 but ran into trouble with its purchase of Raytheon. This analysis is not certain about all the details or the results of the divesting of Washington Group International other than URS bought it in 2008. The Washington Companies is still an ongoing enterprise by Dennis Washington and Washington Group International is now folded into URS Corporation.
