Paul Unger

In addition to being an attorney with McGuireWoods LLP, Mr. Unger is vice president in the Federal Government Relations Group of McGuireWoods Consulting LLC. He provides clients with advice on government relations, strategic legislative plans, and communications matters. He was also previously counsel for Sen. Gordon Smith, and served as chief of staff for Rep. Bob Smith (Oregon). In addition to his posts with individual legislators, Mr. Unger served as majority staff director for the U.S. House of Representatives' Agriculture Committee.
