Gerrish Jeff

Jeffrey D. Gerrish focuses his practice on international trade litigation, policy and compliance. Mr. Gerrish has extensive experience litigating complex antidumping and countervailing duty cases before the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. International Trade Commission, the U.S. courts, NAFTA binational panels and WTO dispute settlement panels. He has represented clients in scores of antidumping and countervailing duty cases involving industries ranging from steel to office products. Mr. Gerrish also advises clients on legislative and executive branch initiatives in the international trade area and works with Congressional committees and executive branch officials on such initiatives. In addition, he handles negotiations relating to international trade agreements, working closely with U.S. trade negotiators regarding issues and proposals arising in the negotiations. As yet another important part of his practice, Mr. Gerrish regularly works with clients engaged in the importing or exporting of products regarding customs issues and their compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations. Mr. Gerrish is a frequent speaker on international trade issues. He has also been appointed by the Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of International Trade to serve as a member of the Court’s Rules Advisory Committee.
