Rita Bass Coors

Bass, 75, died March 26 2015 from ovarian cancer. Married to Bill Coors, Bass was known around the state for her vivacious personality and caring spirit, friends said. Bass moved to Colorado in 1969 with her first husband, Vern Bickel. They had two sons, Brent and Tyler. After a divorce from Bickel and a second marriage where she was widowed, Bass married Coors in 1995. Bass is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Coors; a brother, Lynn Gamphor; and two sons, Tyler Bass and Brent Bickel.
