Austen Furse

From 1989 to 1993, Mr. Furse was the assistant director and then the director of White House policy planning under President George Bush. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Furse Jr. of Austin, Tex. His father retired as an assistant attorney general of Texas in Austin. The bridegroom's mother, Margaret Furse, retired as a professor of American studies at the University of Texas in Austin.
