Jeremy Scott

Jeremy Scott is a government relations director in the Washington, D.C., office.  Jeremy has a broad range of government relations and lobbying experience in government, health care policy, and representing and advancing legislative interests of nonprofit, advocacy and health organizations. Prior to joining the firm, Jeremy was the director of public policy for the national Tourette Syndrome Association (TSA), where he directed and managed the organization's Washington, D.C., office.  Jeremy was responsible for advocating TSA's legislative agenda on Capitol Hill and before federal agencies.  He also gathered grassroots support for legislative issues, including the inclusion of Tourette Syndrome as a disability in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. In addition, Jeremy worked as a legislative associate with Kinghorn & Associates, LLC in Washington, D.C., a government consulting firm, where he worked as an advocate/client counselor on behalf of various defense contractors and trade associations.  Prior to that, Jeremy worked as a legislative correspondent and staff assistant for Senator Mike DeWine (OH), focusing primarily on health issues related to managed care, Medicare, Medicaid and appropriations. Jeremy is currently working towards a Master of Arts in government at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
