In 2005, after 13 years in the telecommunications industry with MCI WorldCom, Kandace Dato founded Carrier Consulting International In 2005. CCI is a telecommunications, sales, consulting and IT outsourcing company partnering with leading suppliers like Masergy, PGI, Verizon, RackSpace, AWS, Azure, Equnix, and more; offering her clients the consultative approach they were demanding from their trusted partner, while not being tied to a single vendor. CCI has become one of the leading partner/agent companies in the United States. Kandace spent many years as one of the highest producing sales associates, managing the top global clients in the region. She earned President’s Club and Inner Circle of Success status every year for 13 years. She was promoted in 2001, with MCI WorldCom. To Branch Director. Her branch was consistently of one the top selling branches with the lowest customer attrition rate in the region. Her branch was a model for others for teamwork, positive attitude and highest rep-to-quota ratio in the region She loves a challenge and finding solutions to any problem or idea that comes her way. In 2010, with an itch to get in touch with her marketing and creative side, Kandace decided to start a second company, The Advent Group, with specialization in promotional products, branded apparel and advertising specialties with offices in Utah, Arizona and Texas. Kandace is an active supporter of women in business. Each of her companies are certified WBE’s by WBENC – Women Business Entrepreneur National Council. This organization is not only key to supporting women in business but also in recognizing corporate members who actively support and advocate for diversity in their workplace and supply chain. She loves to mentor and advocate for women in business. She was recognized as one of Utah’s 30 Women to Watch in 2012. She is a wife, a mother, a golfer, reader, and traveler.
