Leading Age

LeadingAge—formerly known as The American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA)—is comprised of nonprofit, mission-based organizations that provide care and services to senior citizens in the United States. Members overwhelmingly approved the new name during a vote in July 2010. At last count, LeadingAge had more than 5,400 members at three levels, including provider, business and associate memberships, and 39 state association affiliates representing 43 states. Leading Age (AAHSA) promotes publications that are aligned with the interest of its members, maintains a directory of product and service providers, and also holds annual conferences and networking events for its members.
