In 2015 co-founders, Tim Howell and Stu Adam, saw an opportunity: empower farmers with data-driven insights. Initially, they explored drone-captured imagery. But the vastness of Australian farms demanded a broader view. A pivotal moment arrived at a pub in Trangie, where conversations with farmers revealed the need for a comprehensive understanding of their land, insights that could drive sustainable practices and long-term profitability. This sparked a paradigm shift. Agronomeye pivoted towards high-resolution LiDAR data captured from aeroplanes, offering unparalleled detail. But data alone wasn’t enough. So, AgTwin™ was born – a digital twin platform fuelled by curiosity and unwavering commitment to actionable insights. Since then, Agronomeye has been recognised as a finalist in the KPMG Nature Positive Challenge, partnered with industry leaders such as CSIRO and Microsoft, and secured projects mapping vast carbon farming landscapes and entire states. But through it all, we hold true our original philosophy: start by listening to farmers to deliver actionable insights for profitable, sustainable, and resilient farming.
