Cornelia Matson

Cornelia B. Long is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence W. Long of Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Long, a surgeon, was formerly chairman of the board of trustees of the International College of Surgeons. She was an account executive with Howard A. Rusk Jr. Inc., fund‐raising consultant and had been divorced when she married Mr. Matson in 1976. Sher graduated from St. Catherine's School in Richmond and Sweet Briar College.
