John W Jackson

John Jackson has been chairman and chief executive officer of Celgene since January 1996. Prior to joining Celgene, Mr. Jackson held senior positions with Merck and American Cyanamid. CELGENE CORPORATION is an integrated global biopharmaceutical company engaged primarily in the discovery, development and commercialization of innovative therapies for the treatment of cancer and inflammatory diseases through gene and protein regulation. It is located in Summit, New Jersey. Mr. Jackson holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from INSEAD in France. He served as a US Marine infantry officer in Vietnam.
