David Weiden

Before joining Vinod Khosla's Khosla Ventures, Weiden worked for Jim Barksdale at McCaw Cellular and Netscape. Met the founders of Tellme and Opsware at the browser company, bought into their ventures as an angel. Joined Tellme as an SVP of marketing and business development and helped grow the business out of the red before it sold to Microsoft for $800 million in 2008. High-energy financier invested in LogMeIn before it went public in 2009. Also a big believer in consumer tech: Backed social music service iLike and Slide, the widget company started by PayPal’s Max Levchin that sold to Google last year.
