LittleSis: Susan N Story

Joining Ms. Broader as a nominee is Susan N. Story, 47, president and CEO of Gulf Power Company, a subsidiary of Southern Company, one of the largest producers of electricity in the United States. Gulf Power Co. is headquartered in Pensacola, Fla., and serves customers in the northwest part of the state. A graduate of Auburn University and the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Ms. Story joined the Southern Company in 1982 as a nuclear power plant engineer and has served in a number of senior management positions in engineering, construction services and supply chain management. Currently serving as chair of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Story also has leadership roles with several community and business organizations throughout the state, including the Florida Council of 100, Enterprise Florida, Association of Edison Illuminating Companies, the James Madison Institute, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Community Maritime Park and the Florida Justice Reform Institute.
