Lord Kerr of Kinlochard Gcmg

Born February 22, 1942. A British national, appointed a Non-executive Director of the Company in October 2004. He was a Non-executive Director of Shell Transport from 2002 to 2005. A member of the UK Diplomatic Service from 1966 to 2002, he was UK Permanent Representative to the EU, British Ambassador to the USA and Foreign Office Permanent Under Secretary of State. In 2004, he became an independent Member of the House of Lords. He is a Non-executive Director of Rio Tinto plc, Scottish American Investment Company plc and Scottish Power, a BAE Systems Advisory Board member and Chairman of Imperial College and the Centre for European Reform. Member of the Corporate and Social Responsibility Committee and the Nomination and Succession Committee
