Versant will become a publicly traded media company, separated from Comcast, in a spin-off expected to be completed by the end of 2025. The new company will be comprised of USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, Syfy and Golf Channel, along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow and SportsEngine. (Bravo is staying with NBCU.) Comcast CEO Brian Roberts will own one-third of the voting interests in Versant (as he does in Comcast); however, Roberts will not serve on Versant board or management team.
