Timothy O'Shea

Before joining Promontory, Tim interned with the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services, where he assisted the Chief Policy Adviser on several provisions of the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Tim earned law and master of public policy degrees from Duke University, where he focused on capital markets regulation. He also worked in the Community Enterprise Clinic to provide Durham nonprofit organizations and low-wealth entrepreneurs with pro bono legal advice and consulting services. For his master's project, he worked for a Durham nonprofit, Bull City Forward, to identify state policies that would encourage social entrepreneurship in North Carolina.
