From there, I earned my Master's degree in Military History in 2009, where I competed my capstone paper, titled 'The Military Roots of Manned Spaceflight'. From 2007 to 2015, worked with Norwich University's College of Graduate and Continuing Studies, as a Student Services Advisor for the Military History, Diplomacy, Business Continuity, Information Assurance and Business Administration programs. I've since branched into journalism, working first as a freelance writer for places like Kirkus Reviews, io9, and Lightspeed Magazine, where I focused on speculative fiction media and history. I am presently the Weekend Editor for Vox Media's tech and culture site The Verge.
