In other business at the annual meeting, shareholders elected Hassan; Philip Leder, M.D., chairman, Department of Genetics, Harvard Medical School; Eugene R. McGrath, chairman, president and CEO of Consolidated Edison, Inc.; and Richard de J. Osborne, retired chairman and CEO of ASARCO Incorporated, for three-year terms on the Board of Directors. Shareholders also ratified the designation of Deloitte & Touche LLP as auditors for 2004 and approved the Operations Management Team Incentive Plan, a cash performance-based incentive plan.
