Asher Freeman

Asher Freeman serves as the Chief of Staff to Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, overseeing all staff operations in Borough Hall. Prior to serving as Chief of Staff, he served as a Senior Advisor on Reynoso’s campaign for Borough President and Legislative and Land Use Director to then Council Member Reynoso. In his role as Legislative and Land Use Director, Asheroversaw the passage of legislation to overhaul the private sanitation industry; led the office’s efforts to create the Bushwick Community Plan, a neighborhood-driven rezoning; and helped to manage the office’s discretionary budget.
