Chris Henick

Chris Henick is Founder & Co-Chairman of Blueprint Advisors LLC, a Washington, DC-based business advisory and message strategy firm that employs a coherent approach to both corporate and political arenas. From 2007 - 2008, Chris was senior advisor to the Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee. From 2003 - 2007, Chris was an independent business consultant and advisor to Giuliani Partners LLC. And during the 2006 election cycle, Chris developed incumbent protection strategies and directed independent expenditures for the Republican Governors Association. From 2001 - 2002, Chris served President George W. Bush in the White House as Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy to the Senior Advisor. He reported directly to the President’s Senior Advisor in overseeing the strategic planning, political affairs, intergovernmental and public liaison efforts of the White House. During the 2000 presidential election, Chris was Deputy Director of Strategy for the Bush-Cheney 2000 presidential campaign. From 1991-1995, Chris was the Executive Director of the Republican Governors Association. In that capacity, he developed strategic approaches to 53 gubernatorial campaigns across the country . Because of this achievement, he was named a Fellow to the Institute of Politics at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government during the spring 1995 term. Prior to his current position to his current position at the Republican Governors Association, Mr. Henick served as the Southern Regional Political Director for the Republican National Committee from 1987 to 1990. In 1985, during the first session of Congress, Mr. Henick served in the U.S. House of Representatives as Whip Assistant to House Republican Whip Congressman Trent Lott (R-MS). Chris attended the University of Mississippi and received a B.A. in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University. He serves on the Advisory Committee at the University of Mississippi’s Center for the Study of Southern Culture. In addition, Chris is currently an instructor at New York University’s School for Continuing and Professional Studies. He resides in Northwest Washington, DC with his wife Ingrid, son Kit and daughter Simone.
