Hae-Won Min Liao

HAE-WON MIN LIAO is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office, focusing primarily on healthcare litigation and regulatory matters. She practiced in the Washington, D.C. office for three years. Ms. Min Liao advises a wide variety of clients, including pharmaceutical manufacturers, durable medical equipment suppliers, medical device companies, hospitals, imaging centers, physicians, medical associations and societies, regarding distribution, competitive bidding, coverage, reimbursement, government price reporting, advocacy, and Medicare/Medicaid policy issues.  Ms. Min Liao has experience in healthcare compliance programs, the Federal Anti-Kickback and Stark laws, and state law issues affecting compliance obligations, marketing practices, and the reporting of pharmaceutical prices.  She has performed internal corporate and government investigations involving healthcare fraud allegations and the False Claims Act and been active in healthcare arbitration matters.  She has conducted due diligence for healthcare related corporate transactions. She has lobbied on behalf of clients on a variety of healthcare matters with respect to federal and state law issues.
