Valuing, understanding and appropriately reacting to cultural and economic perspectives is critical to student preparation for career readiness. In a recent Gallup Poll, only 11% of business leaders felt graduates had the skills and competencies to succeed in the workplace. The Global Scholars Diploma (GSD), rooted in research from Harvard University, the Asia Society and supported by business and industry leaders, prepares students to thrive through skillful investigation of global issues and challenges within a framework of rigorous inquiry and reflection. Students will graduate with the knowledge, skills and mindset to compete globally. Recognizing the need for greater global context to ensure post K-12 success, districts partner with the Columbus Council on World Affairs (CCWA) to prepare students for the world of tomorrow, today.
