Oversight body for the San Bernardino International Airport
Formed in 1992, the San Bernardino International Airport Authority (SBIAA) is an regional joint powers authority created by and through State Legislation to serve as the owner, developer, and operator of the aeronautical portions of the former Norton Air Force Base, now known as the San Bernardino International Airport. The SBIAA Oversees a U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part-139 Certified Public Airport.
