About the Innovation Fund Announced in 2017, selected Innovation Fund jurisdictions expand the Challenge’s reach into new states and deepen its work across the country. The sites are diverse in their sizes, geography, and focus areas: Adams County, Colorado City of Atlanta, Georgia Baltimore City, MD Bernalillo County, NM Broward County, Florida Camden County, NJ Campbell County, Tennessee City of Long Beach, CA City of St. Louis, MO Cumberland County, ME Clark County, Nevada Dane County, Wisconsin State of Delaware Deschutes County, Oregon Durham County, North Carolina Franklin County, OH Gwinnett County, GA Hennepin County, MN Norfolk County, MA Polk County, Iowa Sangamon County, IL Santa Clara County, California Summit County, Ohio Tulsa County, OK Yakima County, Washington The Innovation Fund jurisdictions receive funding and expert technical assistance, and also have access to the resources, peer learning opportunities, and expertise of the growing network of jurisdictions advancing local justice reform through the Challenge. The Urban Institute provides technical assistance to the sites and documents and disseminates lessons learned from the Innovation Fund’s work.
