The Galileo Movement is an Australian organisation, registered as a private company, which campaigns against legislation to put a price on carbon dioxide emissions.
Climate Denier Lobby Group. The Galileo Movement's co-founders are retirees Case Smit and John Smeed. Supported by their wives and risking their personal finances they underwrote and organised an Australian tour by Lord Monckton in 2011 and Canadian climate sceptic Patrick Moore in 2014. The Movement has a scientific advisory panel which includes members who formed the International Scientists Climate Coalition.
