Early Matters Greater Austin

Our Vision EARLY MATTERS ENVISIONS A GREATER AUSTIN AREA... Where every child, beginning at birth, has the opportunities needed to reach optimal social, emotional and intellectual development in order to succeed in school and in life. Where all children enter kindergarten prepared for school success and read on grade level by the end of third grade. High-quality early learning for all children can transform the economic trajectory of our region. Now it the time for Austin's business leaders to lend their experience, influence, and voice to reinvent early childhood education in Austin. United Way for Greater Austin and E3 Alliance have formed Early Matters Greater Austin (EMGA) to mobilize and unite the business community to help us assure every child in the Austin area enters kindergarten prepared for success. Early Matters Greater Austin is joining the collaborative efforts of Early Matters Dallas and Early Matters Houston in creating and growing statewide support and advocacy for early childhood.
