KAHALA BIOSCIENCES On March 11, 2020 the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a global pandemic infecting more than 4.2M people and leading to over 288,000 deaths in over 212 countries. By April 7th, 95% of all Americans (306M) were ordered to shelter in place. As the shutdown is lifted, there must be a process to safely bring Americans back to work. We formed Kahala Biosciences LLC, right here in Irvine, California, with the sole purpose of empowering employers to bring their employees safely back to work, by providing an end-to-end solution that facilitates rapid diagnostic testing for all employees, as well as those at high risk of contracting or transmitting the virus (health care workers).
