Greenwashing consortium founded by Danskammer gas plant

Founded in 2020, NY Green Hydrogen Alliance exists to further hydrogen development in NY state. It was founded by a gas plant seeking to circumvent the CLCPA, in conjunction with Mitsubishi Energy and Stony Brook University, and attempts to make the case that hydrogen will allow for large-scale decarbonization without altering the business model and infrastructure of gas plants and transmission facilities.
