James F. Lafond is the retired Area Managing partner for the greater Washington, D.C. area for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience serving in leadership positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers and with its predecessor, Coopers & Lybrand LLP. He has been active in several civic and non-profit organizations. Among other recognitions, he has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He is currently a director of VSE Corporation as well as several not-for-profit entities. Mr. Lafond has been a director of Washington Gas Light Company and of WGL Holdings since September 2003.
