Arturo Brillembourg, CFA is the Founder, Managing Partner and Chief Compliance Officer of AEB Capital LLC. Prior to founding AEB Capital, from 2005 to 2011, Mr.Brillembourg was a Research Analyst at Select Equity Group. While at Select Equity, he helped launch and manage the Great Jones Fund, a $200M global, high-quality, large cap growth fund. Before joining Select Equity, Mr. Brillembourg spent one year working with Sam Mitchell, a well-respected and experienced value investor who is a Principal on the Investment Committee of Fairfax Financial Holdings and also serves on the Boards of several publicly traded companies. He has also served as President of Farmington Asset Management. He has been a Director of Independence Federal Savings Bank since February 21, 2007. He serves as Director of The Washington Ballet. He is a prominent member of Washington, D.C.'s Hispanic community. While a senior at Harvard, he co-founded and co-managed the G-31 Fund, named after a dorm in Kirkland House. He has held analyst intern positions at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Loomis Sayles, and Credit Suisse First Boston. He earned his C.F.A. designation in 2006. Mr. Brillembourg graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Harvard University in 2004 and earned a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Chicago.
