Mr. Elkus has been a director of the Company since 1997. He is currently, and has been since 1996, Chairman of Voyan Technology. From 1994 until 1997, Mr. Elkus was Vice Chairman of the Board and Executive Vice President of Tencor Instruments, Inc. Mr. Elkus is also currently a director of Applied MicroStructures, SOPRA S.A., the National Science and Technology Medals Foundation, and the Scripps Research Institute.
