Michelle L Holiday

Michelle Garcia is Corporate Representative for Southern California Edison in the Washington DC office. She serves as the American Indian Liaison for SCE. Michelle was previously the Director of Tribal Development for the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, where she led the development of the non‐gaming strategy for the tribe. She was instrumental is assisting with the energy development strategy and developing and implementing economic development strategies for the Iowa Tribe. She was also the Manager, Public Affairs Department with Southern California Edison (SCE) in addition to being the American Indian liaison. Her leadership has led to SCE's commitment in support of the American Indian community. She has led the development of a tribal account strategy and provided opportunities for American Indian businesses to partner with SCE. Michelle was named the 1999 Minority Business Advocate of the Year by the US Dept of Commerce's MBDA. Michelle has been a member of the NCAIED Board of Directors since 1999.
