Carolyn M Sparks

International Insurance Services, Ltd. Board Committees: Nominating and Corporate Governance, Pension Plan Investment. Mrs. Sparks graduated from the University of California Berkeley in 1963, and with her husband, co-founded International Insurance Services, Ltd., in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1966. She served on the University and Community College System of the Nevada Board of Regents from 1984 to 1996, and in 1991 was elected to a two-year term as chair of the Board of Regents, and is currently serving on the Nevada Taxicab Authority Board. Mrs. Sparks is actively involved with numerous charitable and civic organizations, including founding and chairing the University Medical Center Foundation and the Children's Miracle Network Telethon. She is the chairperson of the Nevada Children's Center Foundation, a past president of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, vice president of Nevada Ballet Theater and was the founding president of the Nevada International Women's Forum. She also serves on the Foundation Boards of the University of Nevada Las Vegas and the College of Southern Nevada, and the University of Nevada Health Sciences Center Advisory Board.
