Mosher was a 1955 graduate of Boston College and former president of BayBank. A Newton native who earned master’s degrees from Northwestern University and Rutgers University, worked his way up from teller to chairman of the Newton-Waltham Bank and Trust Co. by 1970. He went on to lead BayBank, becoming its president for 16 years. Mosher, who in 2004 was named vice chairman emeritus of Bank of America, volunteered on boards from Boston College and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center to the Newton Boys and Girls Club, and the finance committee for the Archdiocese of Boston.
