Mr. Harker has served as Chairman since January 1, 2007 and served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from the merger of DIMON Incorporated and Standard Commercial Corporation in May 2005 to December 2006. Previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DIMON Incorporated from March 2003. Mr. Harker joined Monk-Austin, a DIMON predecessor company, in 1990 as a vice president responsible for worldwide operation. Served there as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from October 1996 to March 1999, President and Chief Operating Officer from March 1999 to May1999 and President and Chief Executive Officer from May 1999 to February 2003. Prior to joining DIMON, Mr. Harker worked in accounting and international management consulting in Zimbabwe, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
