Gary D Packer

Gary D. Packer was promoted to Vice President – Rocky Mountains from his previous position as General Manager – Rocky Mountains. He manages the Company's office in Denver, Colorado. Prior to managing the Company's new operations in the Rockies, he was Manager of Acquisitions and Development in the Gulf of Mexico and was instrumental in the success of the Company's Gulf operations. Packer joined the Company in 1995. Prior to joining Newfield, Packer worked for Amerada Hess in both Rocky Mountain and Gulf of Mexico divisions. Prior to these roles, he worked for Tenneco Oil Company. He is a graduate of Penn State University and holds a degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering.
