Daniel M McCarthy

Daniel M. McCarthy is Executive Vice President and operating group President of Technology. Mr. McCarthy was named to this position in December 2011. Previously, he was President of Technology since 2009. Mr. McCarthy joined the company in November 2007 as part of the acquisition of Lummus Global. Mr. McCarthy has more than 37 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. He joined Lummus in 1974 as a process engineer and was involved in the design of first-of-a-kind plants for the pharmaceutical and inorganic chemical industries. After leading a number of design teams on styrenics projects, he moved into a process licensing role. From 1980 to 1990 he held various product and regional (Far East) marketing leadership positions. From 1990 to the present he has held various general management positions in the Lummus Technology business. In 2006 and 2007 he was responsible for the Lummus Houston EPC Execution Center. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering from Manhattan College. He also earned a master's degree in business administration from Pace University.
