An Executive Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton, Chris Kelly leads the firm’s business for the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, and Transportation, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). This portfolio of clients includes a wide variety of mission sets and needs including: Cyber Security and investigations, Counter-terrorism, Border Protection and Trade, Emergency Management, Enterprise Technology, Intelligence Analysis and Information Sharing, Surveillance Technologies, Surface Transportation, Unmanned Flight Systems, Grants Management, Science and Technology R&D, and Program Management and Decision Support. Mr. Kelly brings an understanding of homeland security, law enforcement, and transportation authorities to tailor our services to the needs of our clients’ operations. He leads of team of technologists, engineers, analysts and scientists who work in partnership with our clients across federal government departments and agencies. Mr. Kelly’s personal area of focus is developing solutions to improve information to operation decision making. He has led the development of big data solutions and investments aimed at enabling clients to integrate all of their data to make better, faster decisions. Mr. Kelly’s background in technology solutions for organizations is complemented by his work in effective people-to-people partnerships. As part of this body of work, he co-authored and published Megacommunities, How Leaders of Government, Business, and Non-Profits Can Tackle Today’s Global Challenges Together with Mark Gerencser, Fernando Napolitano, and Reggie Van Lee. Mr. Kelly is on the Board of Industry Advisors for the Penn State College of Engineering, the Board of the Homeland Security and Defense Business Council, and is a member of both the IACP and AFCEA. He is a past recipient of the Outstanding Engineering Award at Penn State. Mr. Kelly holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the Pennsylvania State University.
