Robert E. Furtado, a Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President, is a leader in the firm’s security business, responsible for technology and engineering support to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the firm’s Army intelligence business. He also provides leadership for several other federal agencies that focus on developing and deploying mission support systems and the firm’s intelligence community IT enterprise strategy. Mr. Furtado has supported several clients across the security community and Department of Defense (DoD), delivering services ranging from enterprise architecture to the development and delivery of systems that provide biometrics, data integration, digital production, analysis and collaboration, and command and control functions. He has managed the firm’s activities in providing: Enterprise infrastructure engineering and services center consolidation consulting Full life-cycle enterprise development System engineering and technical assistance Engineering support Prior to joining Booz Allen in 1987, Mr. Furtado worked as a systems programmer at the National Security Agency (NSA), where he led the development of a number of mission-critical applications. Mr. Furtado holds a B.S. in mathematics and an M.S. in computer science from the University of Lowell.
