Currently serves as a founding adviser to Kanza AI, a generative AI company focused on health, wellness and medicine. He is also co-founder of investment firm Alakai Group. Previously, Eun served as president and chief innovation officer of Samsung Electronics, where he founded Samsung NEXT, an innovation group focused on start-up investments, M&A and new business creation. He began his career at NBC and later held senior leadership roles at Google, YouTube and Time Warner. He serves on the board Howard Hughes Holdings. Eun was Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. since December 2011. Mr. Eun served as the President of AOL Media and Studios at AOL, Inc. since March 1, 2010. He oversaw AOL's efforts to become a leading provider of premium content, spanning over 100 different websites and production studios in New York and Los Angeles. He formed a global Content Partnerships group at Google with oversight for media strategy, partnerships and strategic alliances spanning over 30 different Google products including Google Books, Maps and YouTube. He also has a deep knowledge of traditional media businesses from working at Time Warner and NBC. Mr. Eun served as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Vice President of Content Partnerships at Google Inc. He oversaw Google's partnerships and alliances with leading providers of content and information. In this capacity, he directed the business development and operational execution of deals with Google's video, print, and local content partners. He served as a Partner of Arts Alliance Ventures and Arts Alliance Ltd. Prior to joining Google, he served at Time Warner as Chief of Staff for the Media & Communications Group. Until 2006, he helped to oversaw AOL as Vice President, Operations for the Media & Communications Group at Time Warner Inc. and he provided operational oversight and develop new businesses, particularly in digital distribution and broadband content and services, for the Time Warner Inc.'s AOL, Time Warner Cable and Time, Inc. divisions. He started his career in media at NBC Enterprises as Executive Officer, where he led some of NBC's first cross-media initiatives involving television programming, the Internet, and retail consumer products and interactive properties with major music labels, film studios, and publishers. In addition, he was responsible for negotiations of all entertainment content and distribution deals for NBC.com. He served as Management Consultant at Bain & Company. Mr. Eun also serves on the Boards of Cybersites and Flixer. He served as Director of LicenseMusic.com Inc. He was selected "Digital Power Player of the Year" by the Hollywood Reporter in 2010, serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and sits on the Board of the Television Academy of the Arts and Sciences Foundation. He received a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was a Teaching Fellow for the Harvard Negotiation Project, and an A.B., magna cum laude in Government, from Harvard College.
