Charlie Thornton received his J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law in May 2012. While in law school, Thornton spent a summer clerking for the law firm Fasken Martineau LLP, in Paris, France focusing on various international financial and environmental issues. Thornton spent his final semester as a legal intern for the House Financial Services Committee and returned after graduation, prior to joining Delta Strategy Group. Thornton, a New Orleans native, gained valuable knowledge of financial legislation by focusing his course work in law school and through his experience on the Hill. A 2008 graduate of the University of Mississippi, Thornton received his bachelor’s degree in both Political Science and French Studies.
