Don serves as our Vice President of Corporate and Sales Communications. In his role, he leads Higher One’s marketing efforts to support sales and enforce brand identity. Prior to joining Higher One, he founded a startup with a college classmate and actually made his way to Higher One after making a sales call. Don held a myriad of positions in his pre-Higher One days, including: working as a cow at a local supermarket, where he performed the chicken dance in a petting zoo during children’s parties. Don also spent two summers as an intern at a large company filled with cubicles. He learned very quickly that he was uncomfortable with both of these extremes and has settled comfortably at Higher One, where he does not sit in a cubicle and is free to wear his cow suit to work. Don is a 2005 Yale graduate, holding a BA in History. He is an avid fan of all Chicago sports teams (except the White Sox because “they think they’re soooo special with their World Series win.”)
