Louis Gerstner III

Louis Gerstner III graduated from Princeton University and Columbia Business School, and was hired by the private equity firm Forstmann Little. Most recently, the 41-year-old served as president of the Gerstner Family Foundation, providing education opportunities to underprivileged children. In 2011, the charity reported $94million in assets. Louis Gerstner III is survived by his wife of 14 years, Mary Gervaise Lawhorne; their two daughters, Grace and Olivia; his sister, Dr Elizabeth Gerstner, a neurologist at Massachusetts General Hospital; and their parents.
