Hasan Pirkul

In addition to his appointment as dean, Dr. Pirkul concurrently holds the Caruth Chair of Management. Before joining UT Dallas, he was at the Max M. Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University, where he was director of Information Systems Programs and founding director of the Center for Information Technologies in Management, as well as professor of accounting and information systems. He earned a PhD in computer information systems and an MS in management science from the Simon School at the University of Rochester, and a BS in industrial engineering from Bogazici University in Turkey.
