Matthew S Ahearn

Matt focuses on identifying early stage investment opportunities, executing investments, and assisting portfolio companies. Prior to joining True North, Matt worked at BDT Capital Partners, a Chicago-based merchant bank which provides capital and advisory services to closely held and entrepreneurial companies. Matt began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co in the Special Situations Group, a global platform which invests the firm’s capital opportunistically in public and private companies across the entire capital structure. Matt graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University where he studied Political Science and Economics
