Joe Barton

Joe came to Cornerstone Government Affairs after several years of service as a Legislative Assistant for then Minority Leader, now Speaker of the House, John Boehner (R-OH). His focused areas of concentration were in defense, homeland security, foreign affairs, the judiciary and veterans’ affairs issue areas. Prior to his work on Capitol Hill, Joe worked in law enforcement outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as a state trooper. Joe is active in his community, having volunteered at the Washington Jesuit Academy and participating in Knights of Columbus. Joe has been involved in campaigns in Ohio and Pennsylvania at the local, state and federal level. Joe, a native of Pennsylvania, holds a B.A. in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University.
